we exchanged approx. 10 or so emails then decided to meet in person since we already had some mutual friends in the biking community. We decided to meet about 2 weeks after first making contact via the internet but I couldn't make it down the day of our set meeting so Melanie drove up to my residence in Wasaga Beach for our first meeting. We liked each other almost immediately and found we had a number of things in common. The next weekend I went to visit Melanie at her residence in Guelph and we planned a last biker run together to Friday 13th in Port Dover. Although we are still in the "getting to know one another phase" we seem to have an incredible connection and we spend most of our free time together now. I've suggested your site to some of the other singles I know now. There are no immediate plans for marriage at this point as we've both been married in the past and will take things slow in that department. more >>

BikerKiss All I can say is that we corresponded for a few weeks by some very wordy emails, set up a place to meet and ride, and by the second date, when my bike had battery problems, my new friend responded in such a very loving manor, that I knew he was avery special man. We steadily grew closer over many rides together and we both found that we didn't want to ride with anyone else. The fact that riding was our commonality, helped us to build on other areas in our relationship as well. There are no plans for marriage, but we have been very happy for nearly a year now. I did meet Mark on BikerKiss....We chatted on IM and email for 2 weeks and set a date to meet for dinner...and that was September 2008...So here we are 100 miles apart and still seeing each other. At this time due to each others children and schools we continue to see other other in a long distance relationship. However, Mark does drive to me consistently each week and we have a great quilt of love and laughter we are making together. We do thank BikerKiss for helping us find each other. It is quite remarkable how compatible we are. We laugh about it at times, we have a love of riding together and that is the reason we ended up on BikerKiss. Looking for someone that enjoys that so much, and we just happened to find out how great life can be molding everything else together. So, we learn patience for our relationship to come together, as our children get ready for life, we smile and realize, we will have each other to enjoy life with. So thank you!! HAVING FOUND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE ON BIKERKISS IN 2004

I started out as a new rider and recently separated mother of two after a 20+ year marriage looking for friendship and others to ride with in my new riding life. I met lots of wonderful people at bikerKiss, had wonderful rides and was introduced into many small groups of people to ride with. I had many nice breakfasts and day rides with people whose friendships (but not more) continue today. I didn't run into any cheaters. With Ric, we met the almost but not quite the same way. Our work schedules were reversed (he worked nights) and so we wrote for several weeks (it progressed to phone [calls-cell-to-cell]), before finally meeting on Halloween morning 2004 at a neutral (safe) place for breakfast (and no ride, as I had plans elsewhere). We had a lunch date about a week later and about a week later, a dinner date, also at a neutral mid-way restaurant. By the time we met, we had written emails at bikerkiss and spoken for over a month. I met Marc on Bikerkiss within my first 2 days of creating my profile. Everything I read in his profile was exactly what I was searching for. He responded in an email , being a preferred member and from that point we emailed 2 more times and then He asked for my Im information and we chatted for another week daily , online. The next step was giving out my cell number to him and we talked by phone daily for another week and planned our meeting. We met here in Maine for coffee and both knew and felt strongly that we desired to continue being together and building a strong and Happy relationship. I have never felt so sure about something as I have with this relationship and he also feels the same. Its been a weekend together and another is planned for this weekend also. We are riding in the Rolling Thunder Ride this weekend and have almost everything in common as far as who we are, what we desire, and where we want our lifes journey and goals to take us.
